The property is so pretty- the gardens are beautiful and it’s a quick walk to the beach. Although TianDe isn’t directly on the beach, Mariola (the owner) has a friendly relationship with a neighboring hotel that is first row, so guests can spend time there during the day.
The bar and restaurant area are lovely and the food is yummy and fresh- we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The pool is sparkling, and the staff is warm and hard-working.
Our room was clean and comfortable, with A/C, tea/coffee, good shower, nice decor.
Mariola and her boyfriend live on site- they are doing a fantastic job running TianDe with a lot of hard work and love. We wish them success and will recommend to TianDe to anyone traveling to Zanzibar.

Its Amazing.. i enjoyed my time there. Very warm welcome from the reception Pascal and the manager David who making sure everything is fine. Wifi is very fast and its everywhere. Food and Staff are the best. Clean and quiet. Only the beach area, everytime i try to spend time on the umbrella bed there was always beach boys come to me which make my self cant enjoy my time. Also the bed its a bit too hard for me. Was expecting more soft and fluffy with thick blanket. My driver Aliy is the best driver. Overall its amazing, i will definitely come back.

Not much to do around the resort as it is far away from most main attractions however the resort is quite and very large with plenty of sports facilities such as a tennis court, game rooms, pools etc. they also offer night entertainment that I felt could be improved. a number of restaurant to choose from and special pool and beach dinner nights were exceptional and very fun.

Perfect sunshine (if you are travelling from North Europe or Canada). Tourists are usually pestered in the beach areas (to be sold something). There is significant seaweed farming, so it is unfornatley a pleasant beach and ocean made deeply unpleasant by humans.

This beach is lovely, white sand, clear blue water that so warm. Lots of little kids around, not too many beach boys. Amazingggg views of the sunrise every morning. The community is lovely. Lots of nearby hotels and restaurants.

The village is tourist friendly even though I blend in quite well. We managed to walk a lot within the village as well as on the beach. There’s a number of grocery shops and one grocery store that takes cards with a 5% charge. The smaller hotels don’t take card so you’d need to carry cash.
Found it to be a very relaxing atmosphere without loud music, just avoid the masai if you didn’t come shopping or speak to them and support their local business 😅. They’ll surely try to sell you something.
Would have stayed longer if I didn’t need to get back to work the beach is endless especially in the mornings when the tide is out. Loved that there were options; surfing, kites, horse riding, snorkeling, amongst other activities.

This is a family run accommodation. Cosmin and his family are super friendly and are happy to go out of their way to assist you. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting them including his young son and their friendly dogs. His mum not only prepared lovely breakfasts, she also cooked some fabulous evening meals for us, which were a mixture of Italian and Zanzibar influence, also very well priced.
We felt so relaxed during our stay. It is only a short walk to the white sands of the beach and there is a nearby local grocery store.
The hotel/location were idyllic .... excellent room (Junior suite), very comfortable bed, good facilities, good entertanment programme, great bar, superb hotel (private) beach, good choice of food, great staff who were very keen to make sure you were having a great stay ...
The beach is the stuff of picture postcard magic .... gorgeous sand, blue blue skies, green palm trees swaying in the breeze ... waiters from the Zanzi-Bar coming to check if you would like a drink ... it as absolute bliss!!
I spent there the best time of my life. In front of the hotel is a beautiful white sandy beach, theat was almost all for ourself with magnificent blue waters.
As for the accomodation, we had everything we needed. We had a large room with ocean view, very nice and clean. There is also a nice pool where you cand lie down and relax.
The staff is very nice and helpfull and they managed to make us feel like home. They also helped us booking day trips on the island, with very good prices.
The decor was fantastic and we were a group with one at the beach and one at the poolside
Both were lovely.
The area is less touristy than other places which suited us and gave an authentic feel on the beach. The beach boys helped us to organise affordable and fantastic trips
Local restaurants recommended by Sonia were excellent and great seafood variety
Breakfast daily was also delicious
I would recommend Zanzibar to all my family and friends
Unfortunately I made the reservation late and I couldn't stay as long as I would have liked, I went to another hotel nearby but I came back every day for the beach, the fabulous food, the pool, the spa and especially for the people there who are wonderful. Also for the live music and acrobat shows that took place several days a week. I had nothing to complain about the accommodation conditions
It is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. There is a lot of space inside and outside with tables and beds to make yourself comfortable everywhere. The pool has a good size and depth but the weather was strange and it was too cold for us to use it. The service was great, good breakfast, cleaning everyday, good products in the bathroom, as good as any hotel. Great value!
I have booked for my sister she loved a place
The rooms were clean, very conformable and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to upgrade to the Executive room to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel anyone visiting Zanzibar
Without fail Management and the rest of the team are wonderful
Thank you for hosing us we will definitely comeback
The resort staff in general were very friendly. The coconut stand bars. The rooms were spacious and comfy.
Best for last; THE BEACH! With the tide varying during the time of the day, you sense that feel of transportation, experiencing different amazing sceneries and the best one yet was the mini island that just pops in front of you whenever the tide was low.
The Beach and Seaview was amazing and the breakfast and dinner wasn't bad. Their Christmas dinner was amazing in terms of the food but the band dragged down the event. The beach bar had great service the staff were responsive. I think there was some really great things about the hotel but they were inconsistencies in service for a 5 star hotel
This hotel was a really nice surprise. Big, modern and new resort located right on the beach. The food and the drinks are super good at the hotel. Therefore, I recommend to go for the all-inclusive option. The outdoor restaurant located close to the beach with a sea view is amazing. The rooms are big and modern. Would like to come back!
The vibe of the place beside the staff is so welcoming and easy to approach. the beach is beautiful and the pool is very nice facing the ocean , the food is great ,
My experience was amazing i really enjoyed my stay thank you...
A real gem with a pristine private beach, a beautiful pool and a very chill vibe, Perfect to relax and explore the island from. The staff is very friendly, we were with two kids and everyone one was super sweet with them.
