Edenbridge
The castle has historic 16th century portraits, paintings, furniture and tapestries. Access is included in the bed and breakfast rate and the gardens can also be privately enjoyed by guests outside of opening times. I loved everything about my stay at Hever castle. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and it's wonderful that you get to explore the grounds on your own once the gardens and castle close to the general public. Wandering the gardens after-hours and a nice stroll in the morning is one of the best parts of staying here. They offer a full bar till midnight and I highly recommend a glass of champagne and a stroll in the garden in the evening as well as another when you soak in the tub. The room itself was well appointed with comfortable linens, plush towels, a nice tea set, chests and an Armoire to store clothing. I loved the claw foot cast iron tub in the bathroom and specifically purchased some lovely bath salts from the gift shop made with lavender from the garden just to use in such an excellent tub ( a push button start walk in shower is also available too). Staff are so kind and accommodating and help make the stay extra special. The breakfast was wonderful and I definitely ate my fill of the excellent continental and hot food menu items. There are no options for dinner on site, so I highly recommend preserving a spot at the Henry VIII restaurant within walking distance from the Castle (delicious food) Staying here was by far one of the highlights of my trip.

We had a cabin overlooking a small meadow with a stream close by. You couldn't hear any traffic. We sat on the verandah and watched the birds. Idyllic. Cabin was cosy and charming.
The cottage was very cosy . We loved the leisure suite with the pool, hot tub and sauna. It was a lovely extra to have the outdoor table tennis and pool table, which the whole family enjoyed. Beautiful setting, with a lovely water garden. Lovely pub right on the doorstep
Excellent location in an idyllic countryside. We enjoyed walking around the local area. Far away enough from traffic but close enough to local amenities (driving). Gorgeous property, modernised kitchen and bathroom with a cosy cottage feel everywhere else. Highly recommend.
Lovely cottage in a great location for exploring the Peak District. The cottage was very comfortable, clean and we didn't want for anything. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a busy day, with good views across the countryside, lovely and quiet too. The welcome pack was greatly appreciated.
My daughter & I stayed in a 1 bed cottage. It had everything we needed for self catering mini vacation. The outdoor pool is not heated but was lovely to sit on a sun lounger & list relax. The indoor pool, hot tub, steam & sauna were all well maintained & good to use.
This was an amazing retreat from the city. The place had all the features of a cozy and romantic English countryside cottage. They had amazing breakfast, and great selection of cakes each day. The owners were a lovely couple and helped us navigate our way through the Peak District.
The cottage was very cosy and clean. Added bonus of a sauna. Beautiful countryside.
Charming terraced cottage in old town, fully equipped, comfortable and very centrally located. Parking very handy. Photos dont do it justice, lounge is comfy and cosy, beds comfy. Nearby pubs we liked were the Red Lion and Chspelhay Tavern, both very close and full of sea faring memorabilia.
The property was excellent! The cabins were kept spotless, cosy and fit into the country side perfectly. The hot tub and Sauna were fabulous - you could stay any time of year and be cosy. We stayed in the Nest which was hidden away for privacy with great views of the countryside. They provided us with lots of information about the surrounding area such as walks and places to visit. Staff were very friendly along with the local cats.
Stunning cottage with the best of modern and traditional decor and features located in idyllic countryside settings. Super comfortable beds, powerful luxury shower and great kitchen with everything you need for self catering. Even provided lovely welcome treats as well as complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Wonderful log fire furnace in the cosy living room. Breathtaking views of the surrounding area from the back porch which was beautifully kept with flowers and patio furniture. Can’t rate it highly enough!
